Do it with … love

It all begins with an idea.

A dream, a vision, a calling… What else would bring a School & Hospital chaplain and a Concreter, from Caloundra, 8 hrs west to a tiny town in severe drought. Whatever it is, it has a hold over us.

I’m pleased to announce the Chapel is open to locals and travellers to enjoy.

A place of peace and connection.

A safe place to gather, share a cuppa and rest.

A story about letting go of control…
Having certain expectations and standards of self and others and how things need to be - how they need to look and turn out.
Being able to let go of this... and trust others ideas and abilities... and accepting things as they are... knowing it is not perfect but damn!    It's good.
The needs to be, needs to look and should look takes a huge amount of energy.
These pickets don't line up, but its lovely - it is a lovely area to sit and I choose to sit in early mornings for breakfast
and late evenings entertaining- does that mean that the gaps are all the same - no - I can still sit here though
and enjoy the sunset over the palm trees with a Moscato and someone special.
Our mind can open us to opportunities or close us down in fear and details.
Also - it is ok to have high standards and to maintain them- a lot of times it is a happy dance of you accepting what people will give you, accepting the help you can get, and bringing that person up to the level of help you need.
Be that education, better explanation, edifying them to the level of belief they need to feel confident (you have no idea how many times folk say, sorry I’m too old for that or I’ve been a office worker all my life, and the classic, honestly I kill plastic plants) To see the look of ha, holly smokes- look luv I just did that. I helped here, I weeded there, I painted that or that’s the first time I’ve ridden on a ride on mower.
The We's are the best part... The project becomes... when we, in the morning we will..., we eat together, work together, laugh together, grow together.

It’s in the Letting Go … that we find ourselves.

For this i say Amen
